How to get rid of nausea?

I've been on the pill for 2 and a half weeks, and for the past week I've been feeling sick to my stomach, at least when I eat. Whenever I eat my stomach starts hurting and I get nauseous. We're having a big christmas dinner tonight (we're European so we celebrate on the 24th). Are there any ways to get rid of this stomach sick feeling?

lay down and rest mabye go to sleep and when you get up most of it will be gone or all of it
