Car Capacitor not turning off?

I have a Pyramid 3 farad capacitor with the digital display, I charged it with the bulb and car on until it stayed at 15.2v for a good 2 minutes. After that, I hooked it up to the amp, and to the battery w/o the bulb of course. and then i play my music or w/e and turn off the car, go inside for about an hour and I come back outside, and the digital display is still on 13.1v and it doesn't turn off, why?

capacitors are made to hold power and thats what its doing if it has no load it wiill hold power for hours maybe all night
