I have an ear infection that I've just recovered from after taking antibiotics. Now, however, I still can't hear out of my left ear. There's just a muffled, whooshing sound. When will this clear up? Do I need to go to the doctor again? I've read different things online: that it lasts for 3-6 weeks, or it can last several months, or it can permanently damage hearing. Help!
