The price per barrel of oil continues to decline, yet this past week our gas prices have risen over 10 cents a gallon - what gives?? Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining about .69/gallon compared to the .53 we paid just a few months ago, but something is smelling fishy here. OPEC has talked about reducing their oil production, yet the price per barrel continues to fall. It should stand to reason that gas prices should continue to drop as well, right? Are the big-oil companies manipulating the market yet again - afraid they won't post their disgustingly high record-profits at the end of the year??
