Can I use a T-Mobile family plan Sim card on a T-Mobile Prepaid phone?

Well I just broke my phone and I'm on a 2 year contract with T-mobile. I was thinking of buying a T-Mobile Prepaid phone and wondering if my normal sim will work with a T-Mobile Prepaid phone.

I broke my T-mobile phone about 6 months before I could upgrade. I purchased a prepaid phone and it worked fine. I ended up using it for close to a year. It was definitely the cheapest route!

You can use ANY phone that accepts a sim card, they are GSM phones. Old, new, refurbished they will all work.
