    Can nut allergies progress?

I discovered yesterday that I am mildly allergic to walnuts. Could this progress and I later become allergic to all nuts?

When I ate the walnuts, (they were cooked) my mouth became very sore and my tongue became tingly. I believe this is a mild case, but my uncle said that it will progress and I will later become allergic to all nuts. I'm not sure if he was just scaring me or if that is true.

    Help?

It is a possibility. Allergies can occur at any time. Just be aware of it and be careful in the future. Keep some Benadryl on hand.
