I have a usb port on my computer and on my High-def Tv, i want to know if i can use my TV as a monitor using usb? (I have usb ports on my computer aswell as my TV)

No. Your usb on your television is used only for photos or to update any firmware from the company that makes your television. You will need to download any firmware files from the company of your television onto a flash drive if there are any updates.
