If I passed my permit written test, do I have to take a written one for my license?

In the state of California.
So if I took and passed the permit test, do I have to take the written one for my drivers license? I'll be 16.
I've been trying to find info, but I can't get any.

I doubt it, you don't in Georgia, just have to pass the road test.

i live in cali and they mademe do the written 1st then the driving part.

When I lived there I had to do both. I passed both with flying colors, but still, you never know. It all depends on the mood of the licensing department!
