Restriction Code for a nokia 6300?

ok well i got a phone at the weekend and its locked to virgin so when i put in my vodafone sim card and it says "phone restricted" so i go undo and it says to enter a restriction code. So people have been telling me to enter that "12345" code but that's a unlock code and it don't obviously work. Ok now i have just tried three codes and none work and i've completely blocked the phone now. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLZ???????????????????????????????????????????
