I need help with my sims 2 game?

Whenever i type in the thing to have the cheat box pop up, it doesn't appear. This has never happened until now and i need money to get furniture and actually move in. does anyone know whats happening?
I'm pressing control+shift+C and it isn't popping up.

i've tried it a couple times. i even quit and went back in. I'll try uninstalling it and hope that works

which sims game you talking about there are over 14 different games that are sim's

hmmm are you sure your entering it in right
that might be the problem
if your are entering it in right then maybe its just the disc

your hitting control -shift -C at the same time right???
i dont know why it wouldnt pop up.

try re-installing your game.

i do there is garden gnome outside and when you get close to it press the button that it tells you and it will give you 10,000 whatever the money is called

it has happened to me before but it ended up i was pressing the wrong button i would try doing it again a couple times=] i hope that helps
