Audi Allroad not braking in snow?

My 2003 Allroad was shuddering and sliding in the snow today. I have not had this type of issue in dry or rain, but the suspension light has been on some mornings after the temp dropped. I understand that sometimes the air bags in the suspension that shrink or leak, but would this impact the brakes? Or could tire air pressure be involved?

Get some decent snow tires, and you'll have all the traction you'll need in the snow.

Maybe you just have S***** tires.
