How can I get my husband to eat healthier?

He doesn't eat very well, he's not a fan of fruit of veg and he's allergic to dairy products. Our trash can is always full of take away boxes. He just eats rubbish and no matter how hard I try he won't eat healthily but he doesn't eat in front of our kids (Our kids are 2 years old and 10 months old) which is a little odd because we are meant to sit together and eat but he refuses to eat. He doesn't eat three meals a day, he eats one and sometimes he'll eat a second one. If we go out for dinner he won't eat all day and if we go out as a surprise he'll sit there all uncomfortable and will pick at his food. It started when he moved out of home but no matter how hard I try he just won't eat properly and it does worry me because he is quiet thin.
    He's 5ft 11 and about 130 pounds. His BMI is 18.1

I've tried everything I can think of with him. I've cooked all the junk food he buys and he refused to eat it because it didn't smell the same.

He does a lot of of running and he is constantly tired, his skin isn't that good either, he has acne and he never had it as a teen. I've tried talking to him but he insists nothing is wrong, I've tried talking to his parents but neither are willing to talk to me about it. Our son is starting to pick up his behaviours and I'm worried about how these behaviours are rubbing off on our children.
