What is your favorite wine: red, white, rose, any other..?

What brand do you love most and what treat goes best with it?
Are you picky about vintage and country of origin?

Since this is the season to splurge a little bit, if you had the cash, what would be the wine you would buy and what would be the food that you'd have with it?

i like dry whites, and champagnes
evans and tate is a good one, about $12-17 a bottle for the clasic white and devils lair is nice too

yeah i am quite picky and mainly drink Western Aust. wines but have purchased some from over east.

i would only splurge ($50-100) per bottle on a nice champagne....not wine.....chicken dish with potatoes and nice cream

I'm not too picky. But I really love homebrewed red wine, even though more often than not, it doesn't taste all that nice.
It just takes me back to the good old days.... Like, a few ago, before I was of legal drinking age, when I made my own wine for myself and my friends.:]
It brings back a lot of good memories, though.
