I am not very good at this computer stuff yet, but I know my laptop was alot faster before. I might be doing something to slow it down but what is it?

i have att u verse. My laptop seems very slow. What can I do?

Try defragmenting your laptop (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter) as files get fragmented when you use the laptop, which slows down your computer.
Also, delete unneeded files as high hard drive usage (over 80%) can lead to horrendous fragmentation.
