Help; Rumors Flying by the Gossip Girl!?

Alright here's a long story short.

This girl Mia is spreading all kinds of crap around my school, about people dating each other and stuff.
And this guy, my friend likes Mia.
But whenever I talked to him in private, he told me that he didn't like her, because all she does is tell him gossip.
Well Mia is fairly popular, and nice, when she's around people.
So I can't tell everyone that she's spreading rumors, otherwise no one will beleive, and I'll have NO friends.
Well, I'll have three, but then they'll evntually leave me probably.
So anyways;

Mia is really nice to me. and she sometimes makes me feel like were best friends, but I'm really not so sure.

Ask her what her scheme is. She's probably using you as a friend, making you feel that she's sometimes your best friend when in reality she's just a good actress. But I probably shouldn't jump to conclusions. Ask yourself these questions: Why is Mia acting like this? Is Mia actually spreading a rumor that your guy friend likes her? So your friend is telling the truth?!
