Difference between 1994 VW Jetta P185/60R14 GL and P195/60R14 GL?

I'm looking for new rims & tires and I don't know the difference between the two specifications P185/60R14 GL and P195/60R14 GL

The difference is the cross-sectional width of the tire.
185 (195) is the cross section in millimeters
60 is the ratio of sidewall to tread (aspect ratio)
R is for radial construction
14 is the rim size in inches.

No clue what the GL is for.

These tires should be interchangeable, but all four must be the same size for any given vehicle.

60 - sidewall height as a percentage of the tread width (so even though it's the same %, the 195/60's will have more sidewall)
R - radial tires
14 - rim size that goes with those tires
*letters after that are for speed rating*
G - max 56 mph
L - max 75 mph

i don't know what GL together means.
usually cars like that have at least "R" or "S" rated tires. (capable of handling speeds up to 106/ 112 mph, respectively)

wider tires offer more grip, but may scrape under a heavy load, over some bumps, or when turning.
