well I want to get a sidekick phone but I have cingular and im on a 1 year contract so I cant really change my services right now . But I read online that if you unlock a sidekick you can use it with any services is this true and if so can someone help??

Yes you are correct if you unlock the Mobile from the network lock means you can use with any GSM Sim card as you like,To Unlock the mobile Phone from the network lock,Get the unlock code from the site Prounlocking.com and unlock it from Network lock.
