Is AIM texting free if your texting a person with Unlimited Verizon to Verizon

and 500 to other networks?
My friend has Unlimited Verizon to Verizon and 500 to other networks so does the AIM texting count towards the Unlimited or towards the 500

it's free for the person with unlimited verizon; not for you.

It counts against the 500. I actually just asked this question to customer service recently.

its free to have but its gonna use ur 500 to send and receive IMs

well i believe it's only free if yourself has the Verizon Unlimited plan with unlimited texting

are you guys sure? because i have been wanting to get IM on my phone but i was always scared of it costing money. I have verizon and unlimited texting as well.
