'97 Prelude standard stereo - No RCA... How do i hook up a sub?

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if its possible to hook up a sub in my car if the head deck doesn't have the RCA outputs. Is there a way to get around this or would a new head deck be a better option?

    Thanks

just get a hi-lo converter and tap into the existing speaker wires and your output would have RCA. They usually go for under $20.

if your amplifier has hi lo inputs, you can use those, then you won't need the converter.
