is sexuality a spectrum?

Yes, I definately think it is a spectrum or "continuum" as I like to call it. Here is my idea: Sexuality is a continuum and only the people that are at the ends of the continuum actually come out as gay. The vast majority of the population will be towards the middle or gradually spaced out on the continuum. However, since society shuns homosexuality and since it is taboo, they will unconciously completely ignore their homosexuality tentendies. I believe that everyone has the capacity to be gay.

I think that I was born mostly gay but into my late teens and now early twenties, I believe I have turned more straight. I started watching a lot of straight porn and now I am much more attracted to the opposite sex. I would say I am now maybe 70% attracted to women and 30% attracted wo men......But I am straight enough where I can still live the straigh tlifestyle and get married and be attracted to my husband....

So for most people that are in the middle and technically "bisexual" they just go the straight route to fit in. For example, most guys that are 50/50 will naturally choose the straight route since it is much easier. Whereas a guy that is 95% or 90% gay may be so gay that he will risk the shunning so he can be satisfied.

gut reation or well research. I do not want to eleborate as it may indicate a bias.

Yes.
Both well researched (I'm somewhat familiar with Kinsey, though not an expert by any means) and I've found it to be true in my life.
