Has the 2008 Grammys Award Show Ceremony cancelled?

All the blogs are saying it's been cancelled because of the writer's strike, but I don't understand why a strike involving actors shold affect musicians. And yes, I know writers write the show, but why can't they get none guild writers or get rid of the dialogue all together.

um...you have to be a little ridiculous if you think the grammys are gonna diss hollywood and the writer's guild which contains just about 90-95% of all writer's in hollywood by hiring non-guild writers to script their heavily promoted and televised awards show.

No justice, no scripts.
