Is a 08 Scott Speedster s60 and the Scott Scale 70 a good bike?

I was wondering since i got it as a good grades for school gift. I got a 4.0 the whole year and dad suprised me with the Scott Speedster. I only owned 1 scott before I had a 08 Scott Scale 70 that we bought new, the other scott is a last years model that I got this summer. I was wondering if it was a good bike. Over summer I made about 500 miles on the roadbike and 150 on the mountain bike. I think it was a good year... Well tell me your opinions on the Scott Speedster and the Scale 70.
