Am I the only guy who finds it depressing when a favourite female...

...celebrity/crush poses for playboy magazine? ... or appears nude in some other media?

Call me strange, but when I read a news article about one of my favourite female singers who I've had a crush on for many years (I won't say who) being in the December issue of playboy (I won't say which country either), my heart began to sink, and major disappointment in my celebrity crush kicked it.

I've always admired her (the singer), but I'm not like totally obsessed with her or anything like that kid who ranted on youtube about Britney Spears. Then again I guess it's a good sign that I should probably find a girlfriend. Lol.

Honestly, I would have preferred it if she hadn't decided to show off her intimates to the public. I wish she left it to the imagination instead.

Does anyone else feel this way? When a favourite female celebrity poses nude for a magazine? What's so great about posing for playboy anyway?

By the way, this is a question addressed mainly to the guys.

Why is her identity such a 'big secret'? Are you afraid we'll all run out and buy Playboy and look at 'your' girlfriends private parts? Actually, you ought to be happy that she's 'displaying her wares', so to speak, since you're probably just an average bloke who would never have a chance of seeing her naked otherwise.

I would agree with you. While it may be fun to look at, it degrades them in my book. It kind of makes them into a sl*t in my eyes. It is annoying that they will go to any height to get popularity. I would rather them stay what I guess you could call a "pure" actress or singer. Same goes for guys (though not with the nudity thing, cuz I am not gay). I would rather my favorite male actors, and singers NOT do drugs, and get in trouble for stupid crap. I like to admire SMART people who are good at things, not LOSERS and IDIOTS who are naturals at acting and singing.
