In Baz Lurhmann's Romeo+Juliet what would you call the expression on Romeo's face..?

.. when in the scene where they kill themselves, Juliet wakes up and sees him having his last breath and he realises he killed himself for nothing? What would his expression be in that moment of eye contact, where he realises his one love is not dead but he soon will be?
