Sounds to me like the hydraulic slave cylinder failed. Most cases where you have no pressure at the clutch pedal, has something to do with the lack of fluid reaching the slave cylinder or failed slave cylinder. Have you noticed any leaks under the car? Wet spots where you park. The slave cylinder is an inexpensive part that takes about 30 minutes to replace.

Yes, hydraulic clutch linkage failed. Sometimes you can refill the clutch master cylinder with brake fluid(that's what it uses) and pump the clutch pedal a few times and it will go into gear. This master cylinder is very near the brake master cylinder and is smaller.

This is advice you need to remember if it ever happens again. It can save a tow bill and get you home. Still needs fixed, though.

It sounds like the clutch hydraulic cylinder has failed. Replace that and drive like new.
