I am running on a Windows XP (Hom) with an internet connection (ADSL) with an average speed of around 36.0 Mbps to around 54 Mbps
From what I know this is apparently quite fast, but my problem is downloading or streaming files. It would take about 5 minutes to download a 5 Mb file and maybe 10 Minutes to stream a five minute video on a Youtube Resolution. And when I go on my friends comuter and test out these things, it takes about 1 minute or less to do both of these things, and I think he has a slower internet.
So whats the problem? Perhaps many people probably have a slower rate but from what I have been told I should have a faster rate.
So is something wrong? i don't think there is but if there isn't, Is there anyway I can confiqure with my connection to make sure I download files (small and larger) faster?
Thank you!!
