...nicked/scratched by pliers? Floor heater: 1500 watt
The plug was put into an extension chord from about the early nineties (the brown ones with the removable/twist-able faces)
It got stuck as My dad tried to take it out, and the heater has an auto on/off switch
It began beeping, warming up, and the plug started sparking
So, we took the extension chord out of the wall
And my dad just finished snipping the chord off the heater plug
and it looks fine, but the plug prongs do have scratches and such on it
Is it still okay to use?
No chunks are missing, its only scarred in battle

We finally decided the extension chord plug pins were not designed for the type of plug the heater had.

So, my dad set it up and on to test it
Is this safe?
Should we make a a sprint to the wall to unplug it immediately due to the possibility of something dire like alien coming to shoot us?
Or it catching on fire?
