How do you get the BMW M1 in Gran Turismo 4?

I know it's in the game but how do you get it? It's not in legendary cars in BMW and I've searched used cars for a while but It won't come up.

(I'm looking for either the normal or the race version)

i got it by using the Game Shark. I think it's either by completing the licenses or by winning the special races.
