How do cellphones get internet?

and why can't they put this technology's into things like the sony psp or just about anything else
 
It depends on which cell phone you have. Most get it through service provided by the cell phone carrier, i.e., Verizon Wireless or AT&T. Some newer phones like the iPhone use Wi-Fi to access the internet, which is the same technology used in laptops. To actually view web pages, they have a built in web browser. This technology isn't put into some electronics because it is expensive to develop and keep up compatibility for.
