Bisexual men: do you just hate the stereotypes?

I hate it how some people have these stereotypes of bi men like me:

    1. You're really gay, and are compromising, by not fully coming out as gay.

    2. A bi man will just leave his boyfriend for a woman, as a man isn't enough for him.

I hate these stereotypes, and am quite sick of it. A lot of my boyfriends'(who is all out gay) friends', told him that he shouldn't waste his time with me, because I'll just leave him for a woman. Thanfully he didn't listen.

Sure... or when being in a monogamous relationship with just one person... then being consider gay or straight as if the bi aspect suddenly vanishes.

that being bi is being homphobic -- gotta love that one.

That like so many other aspects... having to prove I'm "bi" to both sides --- sometimes even other bi people. The sociopolitical wars of identity, attraction and sexuality labeling.

I've had some people think I should then be attracted to every male/female because of it. Or that there's no attraction to it and it's only a sexual fetish or practice.

That bi people are incapable of love, trust, commitments or even decisions.. -- particularly funny while many argue it's not a choice.

And many more little things... but stereotypes have their place and they're true to some extent in some cases.

There's times it all pisses me off, but then there's times I play into it... it's just one more perception to break.

The worst of a gay man and the worst of a straight man. Haha... I can manage that.

It's the same for bi girls. Especially if we we're tomboys growing up or are kinda soft butches. It sucks.
