I need a science activity for preschoolers that has a theme of underwater or fish...or basically anything in the ocean.
I've tried to think of something and I've also done some research online and I can't find anything to use.
Any Ideas?
thanks!

Well, I'm not quite sure how educational based you want it to be.
I would use an example of how the skin of aquatic animals is different from our own. I would explain how scales, are let them see a picture in a book or perhaps read them a book. I know of a book about a fish who has rainbow scales but gives them all away?? That is a great book to read to a preschool class but I forget what the title is.
I would have them create their own fish by providing glue and maybe some cut out scales of different colors (or maybe let them cut out their own) and have them make their own fish on some construction paper. Have glitter and other things, let them be creative
