I couldn't help but notice that the hills were not alive with the blades of turning wind generators. I mean they are all over the place but the blades of the majority were feathered. Is there a reason that they are not doing what they are intended to do. Generate electricity. Is alternative energy just a bs political hot topic? Anyone have any idea why they would build them and then not utilize them?

have they been put into service yet? It takes a while to get them wired in and connected. They do need servicing- are they down for that?

Maybe the wind is dirty.
