Dropped iPhone in the Water?

On top of your help, I just need your sympathy.

This morning while I was in my drowsy state, I grabbed my buzzing iPhone and dropped it in a jug of water beside my bed.
I suddenly became aware of what I did and poured the jug of water all over the carpet.
The iphone flickered on and off for a while.

Now it will not start.

Please...suggestions. I am devastated. ='(

if this were any other phone i would say take the back off and battery out... but you cant do that on a iphone so sorry man. I feel for you that sorta happened to me except with a soda and it was mid day...
