What is the average cost to replace the engine on a 1998 Nissan Altima? ?

We took it to the dealership and quote was 00 for the engine (75k) + 00 labor + 0 parts = 00. Is this fair, should we shop around, or consider trading in? The Altima with bad engine has 103,000 miles.

75k will force you to replace it again in about a few eyars
    its not worth it.

dont do it. thats bull...way over priced....1200 for labor alone!! wowowowo you could buy a brand new motor for 1100 online...and go to a regular mechanic for about 500 to put it in...so for 1400 less youll have a brand new motor and it put in...thats insane that they would do that to you

1600 for the engine and 500 more for parts? What parts? The engine is the only part that's needed. They want way too much.
