i was at an apple store today and was talking to one of the employees there and i asked about unlocked iphones. and he said that even if you do unlock it it will breakdown when a new software comes out for apple or at&t (not sure which one). and i was wondering if this was true or not?

if a new software comes out nothing would not happen.only if you plug it to the computer and upgrade it using itunes.but if the software just comes out you dont choose to upgrade it nothing wont happen
