Yes, if you have a contract with them you can serve up to two years in federal prison for violating your contract, or you can just pay a fee.

Is there a penalty for leaving Sprint?

I have Sprint and its a Family Plan with 2 lines. We want to quit. Is there a penalty cost we have to pay to leave or do we just have to deactivate our phones?
