Which Xbox 360 console?

Hi. I am not a big game freak and I am very impressed as to where technology got nowadays. However, I would to buy an Xbox 360 console to my niece and nephew as a Christmas present. Problem is, there are so many bundles and and consoles out there that I feel so lost. I understand that the console alone does not come with the hard drive? And from here I get lost on so many bundles and prices.... Please help me buy the best console possible which will bring a big smile on my niece and nephew faces.

Also I have noticed during my internet searches the term of 'console' alone as well as 'arcade console'... What is the difference? The price was the same.

You will need a hard drive to save your games, to download demo games and movies from the internet into your xbox 360.
