Is this a fast internet conection??? please Help?

Ok i am paying for a 3mb internet but is giving me problems my internet provider is qwest and sometimes i use my neighbors Internet so i can get fast speeds and hes is com-cast.

Are you sure you only got 3MBS? Seriouly that's very very little usage. Are you using mobile internet? I suggest you change to Soul TPG internet. It's pretty cheap and gives a lot of download usage.

if what you have there is kb and not kB, then yes, thats slow.

It's an okay outgoing, but a bad incoming. It really depends on what you are paying for. If you are paying for 769kbps then you are about right. If you are getting 1.5mbps service than you are being ripped off. (1000kbps = 1mbps)

what did i read it right kbps? shouldnt it be mbps, then your must be extremly slow...

extremely slow it sounds like you have ASDL almost equal up/down. I have cable internet for the past 9yrs and it was 1mbps @ 24.99 permonth now its 25mbps for $24.99 permonth. But I bundle mine I get 145 channel cable/w digital channels/ home phone w/unlimited nationwide calling and all features and the 25mbps internet for $69.00 per month and they might be down 1-2times per yr for few hours. Thanks
