Recommended tire pressure for a 2006 Dodge Ram?

I have an '06 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega-Cab. I checked the door frame for the recommended cold tire pressure and it says 50psi (front) 70 psi (back). This is the MAX pressur I assume, but no other recommendation is given. Not even in the owner's manual - which just tells you to check the door.

I regularly have 1-4 passengers and haul a light to medium load, with a heavier load infrequently.

The tag inside the door frame is the recommended manufacturer tire pressure for factory installed tires ( or comparable tires). You do not state if these have been changed, if they have go with the recommended pressure on the side wall.
