    Can i use a 1000 watt subwoofer with my 1000 watt stereo?

    I recently purcahsed both a 1000 watt subwoofer and a 1000 watt stereo, and i need to know if i need an amplifier to go with my subwoofer or if i can just plug it into my stereo.
