If the British called vacations "holidays" then what do they call Christmas,...

...Easter, New Years, etc.? What the British refer to as a holiday, we call a vacation here in America. We call days like Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Easter, etc. "holidays" but what would the British call them?
 
Holidays also or sometimes they are referred to as a break, i.e, the Easter break. In formal contracts of employment they are always titled "statutory holiday entitlement"
