I don't know where to go on vacation please help?

Ok so me and my husband are taking two weeks off the first week of August 2009. We have been to CO on most of our past vacations...we love it but we don't want to go there anymore. We have been to Yellowstone and LOVED it. Also been to the Grand Canyon, Arches National Park and a few others in between. We live in Florida and drive to all of our previous vacation destinations. So FL to Yellowstone was great right...Ok so now what?? My husband doesn't want to drive anymore and he wants to fly. We were thinking WA state but I checked the flight and it's like 1.5 to TX then 9 hours to Seattle and I don't know if I would be comfortable fly for 9 hours straight. I have flown to NY from FL and that wasn't bad. We don't like going to the top tourist spots so going to state and town websites don't really help much. So if you can list maybe really cool place's you have been or some place you live that would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Coulee Corridor National Scenic Byway is a nice place in Washington. It is located 150 mile Coulee Corridor National Scenic Byway runs from Othello north to Omak, following Washington State Highways 17 and 155. It is an important birding trail, making it popular with birders and wildlife fans. Bald eagles, sandhill cranes, and myriad ducks and hawks can be observed at different times throughout the year.

Tbenn! I just recently came back from Hawaii day tours with getting bus tours, and believe it was such a great experience of my life to visit Hawaii. It is a very famous state of the United States, and a beautiful state as well. I enjoyed a lot there, The most superb places which I like in Hawaii are:
    Pearl Harbor
    USS Arizona Memorial
    Diamond Head
    Hanauma Bay
    Iolani Pala

I never get a chance to explore the beauty of Iolani Pala before during my Hawaiian tours. After seeing its name here I have great wish to see this attraction once in my life. Any member like to tell me where is this prettiest palace located and how can we go there?

malickk! Help me to know about Coulee Corridor National Scenic Byway. It seems to me that you had a sufficient information and knowledge about it. I hope you would like to guide me properly and let me know how much time will be enough to explore it and see the collection of birds.?

Jhoney, according to my point of view 2 to 3 days are enough to explore the beauty of this incredible destination. I also spent 2 days there during my trip and easily saw its all stunning spots. I think you can see its all birds collection during this time period.
