OUCH!!! razor burn.... down there :( -- PLEASE HELP?

okay so i have been shaving "down there" for about 10 years now and well the other day i used a razor that wasnt as "new" as i thought it was and ended up with horrible razor burn, i mean, the kind with the itchy red bumps that look like ingrown hairs, there are several of them. what can i do? how do i get rid of them quickly and safely?? last time i had an ingrown hair it turned into a staph infection

    thanks in advance

i know that if you have a heating pad then put it on low and heat that skin for no more then 5 minutes and lotion, just be really gentle

Ugh. It sucks. Just let it heal.

just treat your razor burn just as you would anywhere else. make sure your hands are clean if you go anywhere near. wash our hands before&after.

and i HIGHLY SUGGEST- not to shave there anymore. it may seem as an easy alternative but it makes the hair grown thicker-faster and stronger.
