How did you meet your husband?

I'm just curious to hear from some happily married people, when did you meet your husband, what's the story of how you ended up together? Feel free to gush.

At a charity ball and he just kept in close contact with me over the years.

Well, my husband was an armed security officer. I wanted to apply, so I went to the employer and he was in the lobby hanging out. I noticed him first, but he pretended not to see me. My friend happened to be married to a fellow security officer that worked with my husband. A couple of days later, he called me. Since then we are married and have 1 child.
