my internet doesnt work on my computer but i works fine on my bro's computer?

my internet doesn't work and if i try pressing repair i get a message that says "Failed to query TCP/IP setting of the connection"

but my internet works fine on my brother's computer and its not because of the wires i tried using my bro's and still it didnt work so can anyone tell me how to fix this???
