Return Policy I bought a Stand-N-Ride Scooter on the internet i'd like to return?

It's brand new scooter I bought on the internet to run my Dog - My dog has a problem with other dogs, and almost pulled me off the scooter while traveling. so i found it to be very unsafe to use that way -- Anyone know if i have a legal right to return it? -- there video shows them running a dog, and thats what i told them it was for. that where i got the idea from. I never asked them if i could return it yet, but want to know if i have a legal right?
