We are going tp have to adapt to new systems just like all the othr countries who have existed for hundreds and even thousands of years.

History... aint it cool, no matter how great you are no one ever escapes it. That's deep.

nah... this is just temporary.. after the Xmas season and Obama comes to office.. the confidence will come back up.. and hell... all that money under everyones mattress will be spend... we as americans only know how to do one thing well... SPEND

That's what the Republicans said about FDR also. Sometimes systems have to adapt, such as instituting the FDIC in order to prevent the runs on banks and future collapses of the system.

The Bush's administration's takeovers of various private business entities is a lot more indicative of an end of American capitalism.

No - it SHOULD be the end of government rules on lending money to unqualified borrowers

Congress caused this, not capitalism

Not completely
Reagan-style unregulated 'trickle down' economics is about to kick the bucket.
RIP.
Since when do rich people like to share their money?
Tax the mothers!

Speaking of history......no country in the history of the world has prospered under the rule of an African. Oh boy!

Thank "god" and good riddance. Finally our country is getting on the right track.

Even our new President thinks so. he said " I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
