Yes. Our society places enormous value on beauty. Look at all of the women you see in movies or tv. None of them have qualities which people seem to consider unattractive. The media IS a reflection of society's wants and ideals, because if you honestly look, the "pretty" people are always the ones with boyfriends and a cloud of people following them everywhere.
