how can i explain to my sister that she shouldn't go on a trip?

So I went on a three night field trip to catalina island to this place called CIMI Cherry Cove and it stunk it was so boring ,cold,and animals wrecked all your stuff and your tent. My sister wants to go and I keep telling her its not a good idea ,and that she will hate it , the cost of the trip is really expensive. And I don't feel like she should put herself in that kind of torture I was in. Do I let her go anyway or try to convince her not to go?

it her trip not yours - you can tell her your opinion but i would still like to go away for 3 nights with my friends. dont think you will change her mind on this one

You are not her parent. You can't force her to stay. If she wants to go and your parents say yes, then that is it. It is not up to you. If she ends up hating it, well that is her problem, not yours.

Different people enjoy different things. Let her know the good and the bad as you see it and leave the decision up to her. If it turns out to be a disaster for her let her know that she was warned. If it is a success be happy for her.
