I've spent a lot of time in South Beach - plenty to do, but I wouldn't want to stay there. The hotels are expensive, and many times, a bit run down. So far, my favorite spot to stay is Coconut Grove. I stayed at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel, and liked it very much.

I m looking for a hotel where we can walk around in the city( shops,attractions) but still near the sea.Which is the best place?
